  NOTE: This page is only for RPDs/RPCs who have a resident that is presenting at ARC.  Please read the information in the ARC Presenter/RPDC Information Packet before registering.  Registration and CE are complimentary for ALSHP members and RPD/RPC of presenting residents (One registration per resident, code required).  All others may register at the general attendee page (link below).

  The information Packet contains important information for RPDCs as well as presenters. Please read!

  RPD/RPCs of presenting residents must upload the Disclosure of Relevant Financial Relationships form at the time of registration. Find the form HERE

  RPD/RPCs are requested to serve as an evaluator for one 1 hour presentation block. Assignments will be emailed before the program.

  Pharmacist Learning Objectives

  At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
  

  • Identify a drug-induced skin reaction versus an infectious rash based on clinical presentation in a pediatric patient
    
  • Discuss treatment options for drug-induced skin reactions and serious infection-related skin rashes causing hospitalization in pediatric patients
  • Recognize mechanisms of action, adverse effects, and monitoring of medications used to treat serious skin rashes in pediatric patients

  
  

  

  Alabama Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.  Each program is approved for 1 hr (0.1 ceu) CPE credit.  Participants must pre-register, participate in the entire presentation, and complete the online course evaluation to receive continuing pharmacy education credit. Proof of participation will be posted to your NABP CPE profile within 60 days for participants who have successfully completed all requirements.  There is no fee for ALSHP member pharmacists. Non-member pharmacist fee: $25 which is refundable when joining ALSHP within 30 days of the program date.
