Pharmacist's Objectives:

  • Understand the role of oncological immunotherapies in cancer treatment

  • Recognize toxicities associated with oncological immunotherapies and their corresponding supportive therapies

  • Identify dosing, administration, and mechanism of action for select oncological immunotherapies

  • Discuss patient populations who should not be screened and treated for asymptomatic bacteriuria

  • Recommend an appropriate treatment option for urinary tract infections caused by vancomycin-resistant enterococci

  • Distinguish the differences between prior to admission medication lists and the medication reconciliation process 

  • Identify common medication reconciliation discrepancies and opportunities for pharmacist intervention

  • Compose a complete and accurate medication reconciliation by using defined resources in this presentation

    Pharmacist Credit Alabama Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
