Intended Audience: Pharmacists

Pharmacist's Objectives:

• Discuss the epidemiology of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)
• Evaluate current guidelines for HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) pharmacologic management
• Compare pharmacologic agents utilized for HIV PrEP
• Develop an evidence-based plan for HIV PrEP when presented a patient case.

Alabama Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.  This program is approved for [1 hour (0.10 CEUs)] of continuing pharmacy education credit.
