Target Audience: Pharmacists


Pharmacist's Objectives:

  • Identify indications for combined antiplatelet and anticoagulant therapy.
  • Evaluate the risks versus benefits of concurrent antiplatelet and anticoagulant therapy.
  • Compare agents utilized for combined antiplatelet and anticoagulant therapy based on primary literature.
  • When provided with a patient case, develop an evidence-based plan regarding antithrombotic therapy.

    Alabama Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Proof of participation will be posted to your NABP CPE profile within 60 days for participants who have successfully completed all requirements.
