Title:  Four-Factor Prothrombin Complex Concentrate (4F-PCC) for Major Bleeds Associated with Factor Xa Inhibitors

Pharmacist's Learning Objectives:

    • Explain the current evidence relating to the utilization of four-factor prothrombin complex concentrate (4F-PCC) for the reversal of factor Xa inhibitors in patients with major or life-threatening bleeding.
    • Compare the efficacy and safety of 4F-PCC to that of andexanet alpha when used for the reversal of factor Xa inhibitors.
    • Identify the appropriate dose of 4F-PCC to use for the reversal of factor Xa inhibitors in patients with major or life-threatening bleeding.

      This event is open to the public, free for ALSHP members and to non-members for a fee

      Requirements to earn continuing education credit: Participants must register, participate in the webinar for the full-time, and complete the on-line activity evaluation. The activity evaluation must be completed within 14 days of the event to receive continuing education credit. 

      Pharmacist Credit Alabama Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This program is approved for 1 hour (0.1 CEUs) of continuing pharmacy education credit. Proof of participation will be posted to your NABP CPE profile within 4 to 6 weeks to participants who have successfully completed the requirements.
