Target Audience: Pharmacists


Pharmacist's Objectives:

  • Define heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) and how it is classified
  • Describe the mechanism of action of SGLT2i and how it relates to their efficacy in the management of heart failure
  • Define the role of SGLT2i in the evidence-based management of patients with HFrEF
  • Describe differences among available MRSA nasal swabs
  • Apply available literature on MRSA nasal swabs to various infections with indications for MRSA therapy
  • Evaluate the risks and benefits of utilizing an MRSA nasal swab for various infectious indications
