Proton Pump Inhibitors in Upper GI Bleeds

Learning Objectives:

• Recognize the differences in presentation between upper and lower gastrointestinal (GI) bleeds
• Evaluate current literature and guideline recommendations surrounding proton pump inhibitor therapy in upper GI bleeds
• Create a proton pump inhibitor pharmacotherapy plan for the treatment of non-variceal upper GI bleeds

Separate CE credit will be available for each presentation

Alabama Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Participants must pre-register, participate in the entire presentation, and complete the online course evaluation for each presentation to receive continuing pharmacy education credit.
