The McWhorter School of Pharmacy’s Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists consists of over 150 students who are interested in learning more about health system pharmacy practice and residency preparation. Through our monthly meetings, featuring selected pharmacists working within the health system, we provide opportunities for our members and any interested students to catch a glimpse of what it’s like to work as a pharmacist within the health-system practice setting and to have active discussions about relevant pharmacy practice topics. Each year we host a number of events, including: Clinical Skills Competition, Mock Interviews, Be the Match Bone Marrow Registry Drive, Top 200 Drugs Spelling Bee, as well as our ever popular Student vs. Faculty Volleyball Game.
